Andy is originally from Olathe and is a cradle Episcopalian. He is a distinguished graduate of Olathe East. After high school he continued his education at Auburn University where he witnessed the Tigers win their first National Championship since 1957. After college he lived in Atlanta, GA and Valley, AL before finally moving back to Kansas City. Andy works in the Corporate & Institutional Banking division of PNC Bank. Outside of work he enjoys cooking, which he is good at, and golfing, which he is not.
Alisa grew up in Yukon, OK and attended the University of Oklahoma. After grad school at KU, she made her way to Kansas City and currently works as a social worker in the Heart Center at Children’s Mercy. Alisa is a tenacious board game player, persistent runner, and a doting dog mom to Maggie. During quarantine, Alisa rewatched every episode of The Office and learned how to properly chop an onion.
Paul (codename “Cookie”) is in his second year as an adult mentor for the St. Andrew’s youth group. He enjoys playing guitar during youth group meetings as well as helping to lead activities and facilitate discussions. When he is not writing, recording, and performing music at area venues, Paul works as a consultant audiologist at clinics in the Kansas City area. This year, Paul is looking forward to helping the student leaders explore their faith by mentoring younger members.
Whitney joined St. Andrew’s in 2018 and started volunteering with the youth group one year later. A native Austinite, Whitney is a fan of Tex Mex, warm weather and live music. She is an audiologist and moved to Kansas City in 2013 to work at the Kansas City VA Medical Center. Whitney lives in Overland Park with her husband, daughter and two dogs.
